I hope you are prepared for a big portion of cuteness overdose, as I have selected the best out of the best from what animals you can commonly find around Iceland
Sheep
They are all over the place, probably more towards the South

Clearly waterfalls are endless in Iceland and I mean here everywhere. You end up not stopping anymore. Are you ready? Here the main ones!
1. Gullfossbut before....what about some horseback riding in Akureyri?
We booked our 1h horse tour with Polar Hestar as we had some discount from the hostel (H.I. Hostel) where we were staying. I think if I remember correctly it was 5400 ISK (compared to 6000 ISK). We are all biginner level, I did some horseback riding before, but very limited
I decided not to go to the Blue Lagoon as it seems to me too expensive in the high season and also because I read that Myvatn natural baths are as cool and at better rates. Now of course it depends if you actually go till North East of Iceland to reach them, but if so take them into account when you make your Iceland itinerary
We tried to reach Landmannalaugavegur but the road was closed. As far as we read online it was only supposed to open on the 15th of June (road F208) and we were there on the 12th. A real pity.
after the Golden Circle it's time to go further towards Vik. Several stops are planned on the way, but here a view you'll see a lot in the area...extensive Lupin fields..LOVE them! :)
The Golden Circle is probably the most visited part of Iceland. First because you can drive it with a 2WD car, second because you can do it over the weekend if you take Icelandair mystopover deal and third that you see a lot of the different landscapes you can find in Iceland over a smaller area.
Even if you do the complete ring I still suggest you to go, it is quite special.
Ready for a wonderful and exciting adventure in Iceland but let's not hurry. First thing's first: Reykjavik.
it depends on mainly 2 things
Puffins are those tiny birds that look somehow like penguins.....but I heard we should never talk about Penguins in front of Puffins, as Puffins think Penguins are over promoted and they are not ;)
Well.......i LOOOOOOVE puffins so it was an amazing experience to see them around. Dyrholaey Arch
our first encounter with them was in our 2nd night in Dyrholaey Arch. Unfortunately they were far far away and very hard to take pictures of them. I have a Sony a5100 and with the lens of 55x210mm only managed to get below pictures, but still...here they were the cute little ones.
