We landed in Bari on a semi cloudy day but this was a good thing as our first stop was Polignano a Mare where you usually find a super packed beach. But let's start with the beginning 

They say in German, "alle gute Dinge sind drei" and it seems that it somehow applies to my relationship with Milan. 

I saw it a while ago in some pictures, and was impressed with it's beauty so obviously I wanted to see it as it seems not to be very touristic (yet). So I decided to skip Capri and Ischia the 2 bigger and more famous islands and headed towards the tine Procida. Nice right?

San Vito Lo Capo is about 1h drive from Balestrate. The beach is popular for the turquoise water and used as vacation beach for loads of families on the island. 

One hour away from Balestrate, Palermo is the biggest city in Sicily and the capital of the region. We did not have a lot of time to wonder around but we enjoyed a lot what we saw. 

I've been asked by many why I decided to go for my B-day to Napoli and my answer was a mix of different reason: I was here for my b-day on my first trip 19 years ago, it has Pompeii close by, it has several gorgeous islands, it has the FOOD. Now after a great trip, I must say, that it was the right choice to step into the 3rd floor of my life here. 

it was one day when I felt I am stuck in Belgium and have no further plans for the whole summer and I said, Dear Ryanair give me a great destination and that's how we got to discover beautiful Sardinia. 

Sicily is not easy to reach but we managed. Booked a flight Brussels (CLR) - Trapani and we were ready for our holiday. We are not fond of crowded places so we try to avoid when possible the busy summer season so we opted in this case of May and here is the result. You have a piece of beach in Italy only for yourself! :)
