I enjoy hiking a lot not only for my mental health but also for the wonderful landscapes and the people you would meet on they way. This post will aim to give you a few insights of the trail. I will have a separate post on the way we structured the route to make it in 7 days.

Long weekends are simply great (you can imagine I would immediately vote for a 4 day working week :) ) so we decided to go and check out Marseille.
It is always hard to pick where to spend NYE, it is so much pressure, and I honestly can't figure out what is the point of the forced party everywhere around. Well, we initially thought to head to Italy and maybe explore Genoa and the mountains, but then as some friends had to work till the 30th we decided to stay closer to home and so selected Lille. Have a look at what we checked around.
Champagne all day sounds good, right? And so we did for one day in Epernay, we decided to treat ourselves and enjoyed champagne throughout our stay in the city.
How often does it happen that you are in a place but have almost no time to visit? Well, it 's always better to see something than stay in your hotel room and see nothing at all. So here is what I got to see & do in about 2 hours hours around Montmartre.
It is the land of wine but on top of this, Bordeaux is a lovely city with beautiful architecture and a great vibe, check out what you can do in just 24h.
Do you believe in fairy-tales? and do you like wine? if yes is your answer to both questions, then pack your things jump into a car and go to Riquewihr....it is soooooo nice. I literally think it is one of the cutest places you could find.
named one of the prettiest villages in France, Annecy surely rises to it's expectations. I will let mainly the pictures tell the story of all the pretty around :)
it all started with a great breakfast at Pain & Cie Reims and continued with a wonderful walk around the city.
Reims is situated in the champagne area and is the house of 3 exceptional UNESCO World Heritage sites. So we started our tour around the city. First stop was for a tiny bit of street art :) |
