Liebster AWARD

I will start by saying a big THANK YOU to Anna (​atlifestylecrossroads.com/) who nominated me. It is a pleasure to be part of this community! ​

The Official Rules of the Liebster Award 2016

Back in 2011 the rules were a simple case of acknowledgement of the nominator and to nominate 5 more. Now in 2016 it is a little more involved!
If you have been nominated for The Liebster Award AND YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, write a blog post about the Liebster award in which you:

1. Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog. Try to include a little promotion for the person who nominated you. They will thank you for it and those who you nominate will also help you out as well.
2. Display the award on your blog — by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a “widget” or a “gadget”. (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post.) At the bottom of this post I’ve included a whole lot of images you can use for your 2016 Liebster Award.
3. For the 2016 Liebster Award I will be shaking things up! Write a 150-300 word post about your favourite blog that is not your own. Explain why you like the blog, provide links.
4. Provide 10 random facts about yourself. (This year I’m making this optional. If you wish to engage with your readers it’s a great idea to include random facts about you.)
5. Nominate 5 – 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have a less than 200 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)
6. List these rules in your post (You can copy and paste from here.) Once you have written and published it, you then have to:

Questions from Anna

1. What inspired you to start your blog? I had a lot of friends asking me for advice for where to go on the next trip or what to do in the places I've been. Instead of re-writing e-mails and Facebook messages I decided to put everything together nicely organised. 
2. Your life post-blogging: has anything changed? I discovered a lot of amazing content on a lot of blogs I started reading. Downside too much time on social media 
3. Why did you pick your blog name? Funny story: my family name is Soare which means 'sun' in Romanian. On the other 'a lu Soare' means 'it belongs to the sun' which as an equivalent in old times in the villages of Romania people referred to you as belonging to a certain family. It's very personal with a special touch: the sun I so much love 
4. Coming up with new content often is hard for any blogger. Where do you find inspiration for your blog posts ? I get inspired from the trips I do and the questions I ask myself during or before the trips 
5. Do you have a travel bucket list? If so what is on it? I want to travel the world! I know, who doesn't from all the people reading this? I don't have a real bucketlist but I know that I want to finish Latin America, I want to see the northern lights in Norway, road trip in the Balkans, know Spain more than I already do....
6. “Travel: Because you have no idea who you are until you experience yourself through different people and realize how we’re all the same.” What do you think?Are people the same around the world? I don't think people are the same, I think we are all different and this is what makes us special, we complete each other 
7. Do you like to try local foods when you go somewhere? What are the most awesome foods you’ve discovered? Travelling changed a lot the way I am and I experience thing. I was a very pretensions person when it came to food. I don't like that, I don't eat that was something normal...travelling made me finally be willing to try a lot of types of food! I will chose a dessert and not because I did not discovered some special dishes, but I skipped dessert today and now writing this made me think about the amazing Spanish Natillas

9. Which social media tools do you like/use the most? Instagram, Twitter, Facebook 
10. If you were known for one thing in your lifetime, what would you like to be known for?  For my cheese pastries 
11. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being a blogger? Hearing from people that they loved my recommendations and it helped them have a great trip and pass the information further!

My Favorite blog

All the blogs are absolutely amazing and it is easy to spot the passion you guys put in them. I hope that everyone who comes across this page will check all out as they have amazing stories. I know the rules say to talk about one, but I consider that all deserve equal consideration. So, just read them all and enjoy the trips their adventures bring you through.
