Germany is world renowned for it's Christmas Market so every year I try to discover some more. This year at the recommendation of several friends from Belgium we went to visit the tiny little village of Monschau.
The city is very small so if you are coming by car take opportunity of the parking at the entrance. it might be that during peak season you need to park outside the city, but there are shuttle buses that bring you till inside the city. We parked at monschauer handwerkermarkt which was nice as they have some cool things to buy inside
from here you are in the market in 1.2 km so even on cold winter days it is still very close :)
You have here 3 types of Wurst.
if you are an absolute meat lover, then maybe this is the best option for you.
these are so nice to have when on xmas markets :)
Apflekuchen & Brezel
Make yourself an idea of the market
and of the city
hope it convinced you to pass by :)
