Cutie pie ... this tiny village is an absolute charm. You only need a couple of hours to visit the place and enjoy a glass of wine with some Flammkuchen to end your day.
We visited Beilstein same day with Cochem so we only had a few hours of the day to explore, but it's more than enough for this super small & charming village.
Things to do in Beilstein
"The small village has one of the best preserved historical appearances on the Moselle and is thus also sometimes known as a miniature Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Dornroeschen der Mosel ("Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle")" (Source)
1. Walk around the tiny streets
You need just a splash of your time to look around the village, but it's cute all together. So easy to make loads of pictures
2. Castle Metternich ruins
This is privately owned, and although in ruins you do have to pay an entrance fee. We did not visit as a storm seemed to approach (which was a false alarm in the end)
3. Sit down for a glass of Riesling & a Flammkuchen3. Boat Trip
If you stay for longer, you can always get a boat trip over the Mosel River.
