The only still family owed brewery from Muenchen is a must see if in the city. 

You need to prepare for huge quantities, this is not a game, this is serious business! :)

1L beers are normal things, and it is quite amazing how the waitresses working there can carry so many of them at once. Picking up food is hard as you won't manage to eat more then one plate, or if you do...it's quite impressive 

I had the Haxen (ham hock) so imagine that I did not manage to finish it, but definitely worth trying it, very tasty.

The place is huge, but best to book online. We did manage to find space when we went there, but as we were 10 we could not sit altogether. The website is Braeustuben.de
