To Beach or not to Beach in Tenerife

Very possible I did not get to the right places, but I must say that I was not impressed by the beach offer of Tenerife (please don't shoot me). 

Playa la Arena 

Ok, ok I admit it, this black sand beach is pretty cool, the back sand against the foam of the waves makes a wonderful contrast. Too bad the waves were to big to get the chance for a swim. 

Playa Honda 

If you read the sign where "Playa Honda" is written by the municipality, some surfers made sure to state that this is a surfers beach. 

Playa Los Cristianos 

The good thing is that you have loads of restaurants near by, but other than that, this beach has nothing special (I feel spoiled now, probably saw too many beaches in my life :P)

Did not get there but wanted to 

Of course there will be no pictures as I did not get to go, but I wanted to pass by Playa de las Teresitas which is an artificial beach, reviews say if it's windy you won't get to actually sit on teh beach as the sand will be all over. Then i wanted to catch at sunset Playa de Benijo which based on pictures online super spectacular and Playa la Tejita
