After the ferry dropped us in Stykkisholmur we took a lunch break at the restaurant right next to the port, Sjavarpakkhusid and it was a great choice. you can check out my TripAdvisor Review

Saefellsnes Peninsula is very interesting to explore, we only had one afternoon, bu I definitely recommend to stay at least one full day or 2 halves ;) to be able to take your time to visit also the little villages around.
